Tool and Die Repair and Delivery Driver
Quick Apply 2 hours ago Full Job Description This position is responsible for scheduled and unscheduled tools and die making/repair; will also ensure that all deliveries/pick-ups are made safely, well organized and effective manner.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Work on daily activities as assigned by the Shop Manager.
Repairs dies, molds, and tools when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassembles when repaired.
Inspects completed tools and dies for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.
Drives delivery vehicle to transport parts to customers, including the loading and unloading of parts.
Picks up returns and parts from customers Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment.
Ability to work independently, and with coworkers.
Must perform other work as required or requested.
Ability to understand written and oral communication.
Knowledge of Forklift operation preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Qualifications Texas Driver's License (Required) High school or equivalent (Preferred) Forklift operation (Preferred) Driving:
Clean driving record Must pass employment background check and drug screening Ability to lift load and deliver merchandise Self-motivated and able to work independently Excellent communication and decision-making skills Attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work Mon-Friday 8AM to 5:
30PM and every other Saturday from 9AM to 2PM.
Must successfully complete 90-day probationary period.
Sueldo:
A partir de $12.
