Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's accounts receivable and payable functions.
This includes tracking accurate project costing, ensuring timely payment of bills, and managing incoming payments.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash receipts, and bank deposits.
- Conduct accurate construction project costing using QuickBooks or spreadsheets, ensuring all project-related expenses are tracked and allocated correctly.
- Oversee accounts payable, including processing and verifying invoice transactions, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and contractors.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports related to AR and AP.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare budget forecasts.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records.
- Resolve any discrepancies in billing and payments promptly and efficiently.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure financial operations align with overall project management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
