Full Time Posting Job Description Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Supervisor for our Technical Operations Department.
Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary Essential Job Functions:
Schedules work for and supervise assigned personnel.
Conducts training of technicians and other related field personnel.
Performs on call duty as assigned.
Ensures employee compliance with company policy.
Assist in the recruitment, hiring, monitoring, evaluating and disciplining of field personnel.
Oversee purchase and warehousing of all equipment and supplies.
Inspects regularly the quality of work of installation, service or system employees and contractors.
Works with customers to resolve installation/service related complaints, regarding both the quality of service and employee conduct.
Insures that all company property in use by employees us properly utilized and maintained.
Insures timely completion of all orders for installation/service and/or proper notification of delays.
May perform all duties of technical staff when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Regular, punctual and consistent attendance.
Job Requirements:
Ability to lead, motivate and supervise personnel.
Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications and organizational skills.
Education and
Experience:
This position requires a high school diploma or recognized equivalent.
Associates Degree or equivalent in Electronics or SCTE BCT certification.
Associates degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent from two:
year college or technical school; or three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
