Supervisory Program Support Specialist

As a Supervisory Program Support Specialist at the GS-0301-12 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Supervising subordinate administrative staff. Working closely with the Administrative Officer (AO) on implementing processes for providing administrative services for the district's main and/or sub-office(s); Analyzing the district's financial obligations and expenditures to ensure compliance with USMS policies and procedures; Providing advice and assistance to management on HR matters and/or issues; Providing oversight of the property management program; and Assuring contractors are performing projects that have quality and timeliness measures in place. GS-12 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0301-12 level, if you fulfill the following
Qualifications:
At least one year of full-time specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade GS-11 in the Federal Service performing duties which include:
1) providing oversight of office administrative services in order to investigate, evaluate and resolve a variety of problems and/or conditions; 2) monitoring a budget to ensure that funds are obligated; 3) compiling, reviewing and analyzing report data for completeness and accuracy; 4) serving as a liaison between management and the human resources office in order to provide advice and assistance on HR matters; and 5) monitoring, and/or approving, and controlling accountable government equipment, material, and supplies. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
